A unified geometric formulation of gravitation and supergravity is presented. The action for these theories is constructed out of the components of the curvature tensor for bundle spaces with four-dimensional Lorentz base manifold and structure groups Sp(4) for gravity and OSp(1,4) for supergravity. The requirement of invariance under reflections, local Lorentz transformations, and general coordinate transformations uniquely determines the action and ensures the existence of local supersymmetry in supergravity.read more

De Sitter invariant gravity coupled with matter and its cosmological consequences
TL;DR: In this article, a new mathematical framework for de Sitter invariant gravity is described, and it is shown that the cosmological constant is zero after the phase transition, and the relevance of these results to GUT cosmology is discussed.

Soft gauge algebras
TL;DR: Gauge transformations whose algebra closes only modulo field dependent terms (soft gauge algebras) are studied in detail in this article, explicitly applied to a supersymmetric gauge theory, to gravity and to conformal gravity, all seen as gauge theories over x-space; the obvious applications to supergravity are pointed out.

A Clifford algebra-based grand unification program of gravity and the Standard Model: a review study
TL;DR: In this paper, a Clifford Cl(5, C) unified gauge field theory formulation of conformal gravity is reviewed along with its implications for the Pati-Salam (PS) group SU(4) × SU(2)L × SU (2)R, and trinification grand unified theory models of three fermion generations.

Tensor network formulation of two dimensional gravity
TL;DR: In this paper, a tensor tensor network is constructed for two-dimensional (Euclidean) quantum gravity with a positive cosmological constant and a Yang-Mills term, where the local frame and spin connection are treated as independent fields.

Massive supergravity from non-linear realization of orthosymplectic gauge symmetry and coupling to spin-12—spin-1 multiplet
TL;DR: In this paper, a Lagrangian density manifestly invariant under OSP(1;4) gauge symmetry and general coordinate transformations was constructed and broken spontaneously to the Lorentz symmetry.
