TLDR
In this article, the validity of the negative binomial distribution in the multiplicity distribution of charged secondaries in 16O and 32S interactions with AgBr was studied in different azimuthal phase spaces.Abstract:
This work studies the validity of the negative binomial distribution in the multiplicity distribution of charged secondaries in 16O and 32S interactions with AgBr at 60 GeV/c per nucleon and 200 GeV/c per nucleon, respectively. The validity of negative binomial distribution (NBD) is studied in different azimuthal phase spaces. It is observed that the data can be well parameterized in terms of the NBD law for different azimuthal phase spaces.read more

Entropy Analysis in Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collisions
TL;DR: In this paper, the experimental data on ion-ion collisions at AGS and SPS energies were analyzed and the results were compared with those predicted by multiphase transport and correlation-free Monte Carlo models.

Entropy scaling in high-energy nucleus?nucleus interactions
TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the multiparticle production in high-energy nucleus-nucleus interactions in terms of particle entropy in 16O-AgBr and 32S−AgBr interactions at 60 and 200 A GeV, respectively, and showed that the scaling behavior is not supported either by the FRITIOF model or by the Monte Carlo simulated events.

Distribution of DNA fragment sizes after irradiation with ions
TL;DR: The paper discusses minimalistic models that describe observable patterns of fragment length in DNA segments irradiated with heavy ions and applies the formalism to interpret the recent experimental data collected by use of atomic force microscope (AFM).

Entropy scaling in ion–ion collisions at ags and sps energies
TL;DR: In this paper, the experimental data on nucleus-nucleus collisions at AGS and SPS energies reveals that entropy produced in a limited and full phase-space increases with increasing beam energy and mass of the colliding nuclei.
