Foxa1 and Foxa2 regulate bile duct development in mice

TL;DR: Using conditional gene ablation during a later phase of liver development, it is shown that deletion of both Foxa1 and Foxa2 (Foxa1/2) in the embryonic liver caused hyperplasia of the biliary tree and suggested that Foxa 1/2 function as terminators of bile duct expansion in the adult liver through inhibition of IL-6 expression.

Navigating the journey to culturally responsive teaching: Lessons from the success and struggles of one first-year, Black female teacher of Black students in an urban school

TL;DR: The authors examined the experiences of one first-year, Black female English language arts teacher and her Advanced Placement Language and Composition students through an exploration of their relationship with their Black students, revealing how she faced challenges when finding balance in her classroom management style, encountered cultural dissonance, developed teacher-student relationships, and struggled with how White, middle-class values may have shaped her classroom interactions with her students.
