TL;DR: In this article, de Sitter supergravity theories in 2+1 dimensions with positive cosmological constant as Chern-Simons gauge theories of the algebra OSp(M‖2;C) are constructed.
Abstract: In this paper de Sitter supergravity theories in 2+1 dimensions with positive cosmological constant as Chern–Simons gauge theories of the algebra OSp(M‖2;C) are constructed. Starting from anti‐de Sitter supergravity theories based on OSp(M‖2;R)×OSp(M‖2;R) algebras, a particular Inonu–Wigner contraction is used to construct a large class of super Poincare supergravity theories with nontrivial internal symmetries. Other models based on algebras SL(M‖N) and the exceptional super Lie algebras are also discussed. The classical consistency of our de Sitter supergravity theories is discussed.

TL;DR: In this paper, a free-field formulation of the Yang-Mills theory is proposed by choosing a suitable contraction of the gauge group, which enables us to represent explicitly the complete det of BRST invariant local operators.

TL;DR: In this paper, the quantum-group structure of two-dimensional N = 1 supergravity in the conformal gauge is described, and the operator-algebra of this theory is shown to correspond to a quantum deformation of the super-Mobius group.
Abstract: We describe the quantum-group structure of two-dimensionalN=1 supergravity in the conformal gauge. The operator-algebra of this (super-Liouville) theory is shown to correspond to a quantum deformation of the super-Mobius group, which provides a new solution of Yang and Baxter's equation. This structure is used to investigate the strong-coupling regime of the theory (1≦d≦9). Ford=5, a unitary truncation theorem-similar to the one of the bosonic case-is derived for the fundamental representation.

TL;DR: In this article, the classical exchange algebra of the 2D effective (2, 0) supergravity in the geometrical formulation has been shown to have superconformal symmetry in the supersymmetric sector, and local N = 2 graded SL symmetry non-supersymmetric sectors.
Abstract: We will show the classical exchange algebra of the 2D effective (2, 0) supergravity in the geometrical formulation. The key point for the demonstration will be that in this formulation the action has N = 2 superconformal symmetry in the supersymmetric sector, and local N = 2 graded SL (2, ℝ) symmetry non-supersymmetric sector.

TL;DR: In this article, the Kahler potential of the low energy supergravity theory is derived for a simple superconformal model constructed as a 1 9 Gepner model quotiented by a discrete symmetry with embedding in the gauge group.

TL;DR: In this article, the sigma model was coupled to all of the bosonic fields of a D = 4, N = 8 supergravity theory, which is a special form of N=8 supergravity with fields forming representations of Spin(6).
Abstract: A coincidence allows the sigma -model which describes a four-dimensional heterotic string propagating in a background of fields with spins Os2, to be coupled to all of the bosonic fields of a D=4, N=8 supergravity theory. This requires a special form of N=8 supergravity with fields forming representations of Spin(6). The usual SU(8) formulation cannot be coupled as a background to a four-dimensional type-II Green-Schwarz action or the heterotic sigma -model.

TL;DR: In this paper, the Kahler potential of the low energy supergravity theory derived from a (2, 2) heterotic string theory is studied in cases where the gauge group contains an SU(3) factor enlarging it to E6XE8XSU(3), XUp(1).

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, the super-Liouville action for the supergravity degrees of freedom in the superconformal gauge was derived and the corresponding scaling properties were derived for non-critical heterotic N = (2, 1) string models.

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that in the case of the unbroken N = 2 supergravity, it is impossible to construct gauge-invariant forms containing gauge fields of translations.
Abstract: Adopting the method based on the fiber bundle and group theories we show that in the case of the unbrokenN=2 supergravity it is impossible to construct gauge-invariant forms containing gauge fields of translations. This method allows us to find all the possible gauge-invariant forms.
