Abstract: In recent years, greenhouse technology in agriculture is to automation, information technology direction with the IOT (Internet of Things) technology rapid development and wide application. This paper takes CC2530 chip as the core, presents the design and implementation of agriculture Greenhouse Environment monitoring system based on ZigBee technology, the wireless sensor and control nodes takes CC2530F256 as core to control the environment data. This system is made up of front-end data acquisition, data processing, data transmission and data reception. The ambient temperature is real-time processed by the temperature sensor of data terminal node. Processed data is send to the intermediate node through a wireless network. Intermediate node aggregates all data, and then sends the data to the PC through a serial port, at the same time, staff may view, analysis and storage the data by the PC that provide real-time data for agricultural greenhouse, fans and other temperature control equipment, and achieve automatic temperature control.

Abstract: A high speed serial interface is provided. In one aspect, the high speed serial interface uses three phase modulation for jointly encoding data and clock information. Accordingly, the need for de-skewing circuitry at the receiving end of the interface is eliminated, resulting in reduced link start-up time and improved link efficiency and power consumption. In one embodiment, the high speed serial interface uses fewer signal conductors than conventional systems having separate conductors for data and clock information. In another embodiment, the serial interface allows for data to be transmitted at any speed without the receiving end having prior knowledge of the transmission data rate. In another aspect, the high speed serial interface uses polarity encoded three phase modulation for jointly encoding data and clock information. This further increases the link capacity of the serial interface by allowing for more than one bit to be transmitted in any single baud interval.

Abstract: Monitoring the output parameters of a solar module is required for assessing its performance under real operating conditions. This paper presents a new technique for monitoring the output parameters i.e. current and voltage of solar module directly under real operating conditions. In this new monitoring technique, the output parameters of a solar module can be directly processed in real time condition and their results are displayed in a graph. The monitoring system is developed using microprocessor Arduino Atmega 328P and equipped with calibrated current and voltage sensors, a data acquisition system which is integrated directly into an Excel spreadsheet using the PLX-DAQ application program and a memory card for backup. The monitoring system is connected to a computer using a RS232 serial port. The collected data is saved directly into a spreadsheet and plotted in real time. This technique provides an easy access to the collected data for further analysis.

Abstract: In this paper, a serial port based debugging tool for the Arduino platform is presented. The tool is based on a modification of the Arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment) and libraries. It includes the basic options of debugging tools (stepping, breakpoints, variable inspection, etc.) without the need of a hardware debugging interface. The tool has been designed taking into account that is going to be used by beginners or intermediate users, which is the most common profile among Arduino users. The tool tries to promote debugging procedures that are not based on trial and error, and contributes to the Arduino environment with another teaching resource.

Abstract: Development of real time applications using platforms such as Raspberry Pi often requires interfacing of different sensors and communication modules. They can be easily interfaced using RS232 port but now a days it is replaced by USB. Interfacing sensors and modules having only USB ports, some sort of port conversion is required that can emulate a serial port providing a virtual COM through UART interface. This paper propose design & development of daughter board for USB to UART Communication to Raspberry Pi that provides communication with different embedded devices by the use of USB to UART Convertor Boards. With the help of these convertors, bidirectional data transmission is achieved. FT232RL & CP2102 IC's are used in the proposed daughter boards. A comparative analysis is presented between these boards in terms of cost, performance, reliability, packaging, required baud rate.

Abstract: The invention discloses an OPC UA conversion apparatus of a Modbus communication protocol. The apparatus comprises an OPC UA address space management module, an address space browsing module, a data read-write module, a data subscription module, an OPC UA communication module, a parameter configuration module, a Modbus serial port communication processing module and a Modbus/TCP communication processing module. The invention also discloses an OPC UA data conversion method of a Modbus communication protocol. A Modbus communication protocol is converted into an OPC UA protocol, multiple Modbus devices based on serial communication or TCP communication are packaged to form an OPC UA server, and an OPC UA client program conforming to the OPC UA protocol performs reading, writing and subscribing operation on data of these Modbus devices according to an OPC UA standard. Abstract: A method for controlling serial port communication is provided and solves the problem of setting a baud rate for serial port communication. The invention belongs to the technical field of digital communication, specifically to a method for automatically detecting an asynchronous serial port communication protocol. For one scheme, a host computer mode switching unit outputs a first characteristic level signal to an embedded device through a data sending request wire, and switches the host computer to a baud rate adaption mode. The mode switching unit of the embedded device monitors the signal on the data sending request wire. When the received signal is the first characteristic level signal, the embedded device is switched to the baud rate adaption mode to start the baud rate adaption method. A device for realizing the method is also provided.

The serial port server converts signals of the infrared receivers, the signals are transmitted to the PC via the TCP/IP network, the PC receives signals transmitted by the serial port server, if the signals are firstly received by the second infrared received close to the outdoor and later received by the first infrared receiver close to the indoor, the number of persons indoors is added by one; and otherwise, if the signals are firstly received by the first infrared receiver close to the indoor and later received by the second infrared received close to the outdoor, the number of persons indoors is reduced by one. Thus, the number of persons entering or exiting the room can be accurately counted.

The LED display module comprises a module display driving circuit, a microprocessor module and a first module input and output interface. The microprocessor module is provided with a first serial port and a plurality of input/output ports; the first module input and output interface comprises a module input interface portion and a first serial port portion, the module input interface portion is electrically connected with an input end of the module display driving circuit, and the first serial port portion is electrically connected with the first serial port of the microprocessor module; the multiple input/output ports of the microprocessor module are electrically connected with an output end of the module display driving circuit. The LED display module and the method have the advantages that the various states of the LED display module can be detected by the aid of circuit designs, additional configured monitoring cards can be omitted, and the intelligence of the LED display module can be improved.

Main control equipment sends communication request command to a slave unit to which data is sent; the slave unit receives the data sending request command and returns communication response to the main control equipment; the main control equipment receives the communication response of the slave unit and then sends the sent data to the slave unit. The system solves the simple one-to-many communication mode of the traditional serial port, supports a one-to-many communication mode, and solves the problem that a host unit is communicated with a plurality of slave units without depending on hardware switching due to few ports of the host unit. The communication ports are reduced in resources, the port resources are saved, and the one-to-one end-to-end communication port is logically implemented.

Abstract: A link layer to physical layer (PHY) serial interface is disclosed. In one aspect, a system on a chip (SoC) integrated circuit (IC) includes a link layer circuit, and a remote IC includes a Universal Serial Bus (USB) PHY circuit. A bus having four or fewer wires connects the two ICs. A link bridge communicates with the link layer circuit and serializes USB Transceiver Macrocell Interface (UTMI) signaling received from the link layer circuit as high speed (HS) USB messages for transmission to the remote IC. The link bridge also receives HS messages from the USB PHY circuit on the remote IC. The link bridge deserializes the HS messages to extract UTMI signaling and passes the extracted UTMI signaling to the link layer circuit.
