Performance of the EUDET-type beam telescopes

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of the EUDET-type beam telescopes originally developed within the DESY project was evaluated using test beam measurements at the test beam facilities of DESY and the mean intrinsic resolution over the six sensors used was found to be (3.24 ± 0.09) µm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Performance of the EUDET-type beam telescopes

TL;DR: In this paper, the biased residual distribution is studied as a function of the beam energy, plane spacing and sensor threshold, and the track resolution halfway between the two inner pixel planes using an equidistant plane spacing of 20mm is estimated to be $(1.83\,\pm\,0.09)\,\upmu\meter.
Journal ArticleDOI

EUTelescope: A modular reconstruction framework for beam telescope data

TL;DR: EUTelescope as mentioned in this paper is a modular, comprehensive software framework for the reconstruction of particle trajectories recorded with beam telescopes, which facilitates the usage of any position sensitive device for both the beam telescope sensors as well as the device under test and supports a wide range of geometric arrangements of the sensors.

Infrastructure for Detector Research and Development towards the International Collider

J. Aguilar, +275 more
TL;DR: The EUDET-project was launched to create an infrastructure for developing and testing new and advanced detector technologies to be used at a future linear collider to make possible experimentation and analysis of data for institutes, which otherwise could not be realized due to lack of resources.
Journal ArticleDOI

EUTelescope : A modular reconstruction framework for beam telescope data

TL;DR: The functionality of the EUTelescope framework as released in v2.2 and its underlying dependencies are discussed and various use cases with emphasis on the General Broken Lines advanced track fitting methods are given.
