TL;DR: The NEMO3 detector as discussed by the authors uses a tracking-calorimeter technique in order to investigate double beta decay processes for several isotopes, and it is used in the Frejus Underground Laboratory (L.S.M. Laboratoire Souterrain de Modane).
Journal ArticleDOI
Determination of the 233 Pa(n, f) reaction cross section from 0.5 to 10 MeV neutron energy using the transfer reaction 232 Th( 3 He, p) 234 Pa

TL;DR: In this article, the fission probability distributions of 232, 233, 234 Pa and 231 Th have been measured up to an excitation energy of 15 MeV, using the transfer reactions 232 Th( 3 He, t) 232 Pa, 232 Th ( 3 He,d) 233 Pa, and 232 Th 3 He 4 He) 231 Th.
Journal ArticleDOI
Determination of the 233Pa(n, γ) capture cross section up to neutron energies of 1 MeV using the transfer reaction 232Th(3He, p)234Pa∗

TL;DR: In this paper, the total number of γ-ray cascades in a given nucleus, the raw experimental detected gamma-ray events have been corrected by the weighting function technique, which requires complete knowledge of the efficiency and response functions for the C 6 D 6 detector set-up and surroundings.
Journal ArticleDOI
Measurements of (n,γ) neutron capture cross-sections with liquid scintillator detectors
J. N. Wilson,B. Haas,S Boyer,D. Dassié,G. Barreau,M. Aiche,S. Czajkowski,C. Grosjean,A. Guiral +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate the measurement of efficiency and response functions for a C 6 D 6 liquid scintillator using gamma-ray sources and (p,γ) reactions on light nuclei.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In this article, the CENBG collaboration applied the surrogate method to determine the neutron-capture cross section of 233 Pa (T 1/2 = 27 d), which was then deduced from the measured gamma decay probability of 234 Pa compound nucleus formed via the surrogate 232 Th (3 He,p) reaction channel.
