N-methylene phosphonic acid chitosan/graphene sheets decorated with silver nanoparticles as green antimicrobial agents.

TL;DR: A green and scalable approach for the preparation of few-layered graphene utilizing the biowaste of potato peels has been developed as mentioned in this paper, where potato peel has been dried and carbonized to obtain a new graphite structure that has been exfoliated in N-methylene phosphonic acid chitosan (MPC) to assist the formation of graphene sheets with a high size diameter and quality of 50% based on the weight of graphite.
Journal ArticleDOI

Zn/Co ZIF family: MW synthesis, characterization and stability upon halogen sorption

TL;DR: In this article, the morphological, structural and electronic properties of the obtained materials were probed with different experimental techniques (XRD, TEM, TGA, BET, UV−Vis, IR, Co and Zn K-edge XANES).
Journal ArticleDOI

Determination of the optical constants and film thickness of ZnTe and ZnS thin films in terms of spectrophotometric and spectroscopic ellipsometry

TL;DR: In this article, the optical constants (n, k ), and film thickness ( d ) of ZnTe and ZnS thin films were obtained using two methods, first was based on transmission (T ) curve obtained by spectrophotometer (SM), using envelope method suggested by Swanepoel, and second was dependent on the ellipsometric parameters ( ψ and Δ) obtained by Spectroscopic ellipsometry (SE), using three layer model systems.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative Studies on Spectroscopic and Crystallization Properties of Al2O3 -Li2O- B2O3-TiO2 Glasses

TL;DR: In this article, a quaternary glass based on the chemical composition 5Al2O3-676 $$(10+x)$$¯¯¯¯ Li2O-龍傷 $$(70 - x)$$¯¯ B2O 3-15TiO2 $$:(0\le x\le 25)$$¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ mol.%.
