Journal ArticleDOI
High prevalence of human T-cell leukemia virus type-1b genotype among blood donors in Gabon, Central Africa.
Jill-Léa Ramassamy,Jill-Léa Ramassamy,Olivier Cassar,Manoushka Toumbiri,Abdoulaye Diané,Antony Idam Mamimandjiami,Antony Idam Mamimandjiami,Calixte Bengone,Jophrette Mireille Ntsame‐Ndong,Augustin Mouinga-Ondémé,Antoine Gessain +10 more
TL;DR: The African continent is considered to be the largest endemic area of HTLV‐1 infection, with at least several million infected individuals, and systematic screening of blood donors can prevent the transmission of HT LV‐1 in blood.
Journal ArticleDOI
Screening and Whole Genome Sequencing of SARS-CoV-2 Circulating During the First Three Waves of the COVID-19 Pandemic in Libreville and the Haut-Ogooué Province in Gabon
Sonia Etenna Lekana-Douki,Nadine N'dilimabaka,Anthony Levasseur,Philippe Colson,Julia Cyrielle Andeko,Ornella Zong Minko,Octavie Banga Mve-Ella,Pierre-Edouard Fournier,Christian Devaux,Bertrand Mve Ondo,Falone Larissa Akombi,Laurianne Yacka Mouele Bolo,Audrey Michel Ngonga Dikongo,Abdoulaye Diané,Arsène Mabika Mabika,Jenny Francine Mathouet,C. Adegnika,Didier Raoult,Florence Fenollar,Jean Bernard Lekana-Douki +29 more
TL;DR: A retrospective genotyping study using 1,006 samples collected from COVID-19 patients in Gabon from 2020 to 2021 found that Sequences of Gabonese SARS-CoV-2 strains presented the highest similarities with those of France, Belgium and neighboring countries of Central Africa, as well as West Africa.
Journal ArticleDOI
High rate of virological failure and HIV drug resistance in semi-rural Gabon and implications for dolutegravir-based regimen efficacy
Jéordy D Engone-Ondo,Augustin Mouinga-Ondémé,Sonia Etenna Lekana-Douki,Abdoulaye Diané,Antony Idam Mamimandjiami,Octavie Banga,Guy-Roger Ndong-Atome,Avelin F. Aghokeng +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors assessed viral load suppression and acquired drug resistance, as well as future efficacy of dolutegravir-based combinations for patients living in semi-rural regions of Gabon.
Journal ArticleDOI
QSAR modeling and molecular docking studies of 2-oxo-1, 2-dihydroquinoline-4- carboxylic acid derivatives as p-glycoprotein inhibitors for combating cancer multidrug resistance
TL;DR: In this paper , a series of quinoline derivatives of 18 compounds were analyzed using different linear and non-linear machine learning regression methods including k-nearest neighbors (KNN), decision tree (DT), back propagation neural networks (BPNN), and gradient boosting-based (GB) methods.
Journal ArticleDOI
HIV-1 non-B resistance mutations and natural polymorphisms to integrase strand transfer inhibitors in recently diagnosed patients in Gabon, Central Africa
Jéordy-Dimitri Engone-Ondo,Michelle Bignoumba,Pamela Boundzanga Moussavou,Amahani Gafou,Abdoulaye Diané,Leslie Monica Yangawagou,Roland Fabrice Kassa Kassa,Richard Onanga,Augustin Mouinga-Ondémé,Avelin F. Aghokeng +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors showed the occurrence of MDR P. multocida and M. haemolytica isolates carrying unusual resistance genes within multiresistance-mediating ICEs, which have so far not been described in Europe.
