Benchmarking algorithms for gene regulatory network inference from single-cell transcriptomic data.
TL;DR: A systematic evaluation of state-of-the-art algorithms for inferring gene regulatory networks from single-cell transcriptional data finds heterogeneous performance and suggests recommendations to users.

Benchmarking algorithms for gene regulatory network inference from single-cell transcriptomic data
TL;DR: It is suggested that new ideas for avoiding the prediction of indirect interactions appear to be necessary to improve the accuracy of GRN inference algorithms for single cell gene expression data.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: The National Cardiogenic Shock Initiative is a single‐arm, prospective, multicenter study to assess outcomes associated with early mechanical circulatory support in patients presenting with acute myocardial infarction and cardiogenic shock treated with percutaneous coronary intervention.
Journal ArticleDOI
Acute myocardial infarction treatments and outcomes in 6.5 million patients with a current or historical diagnosis of cancer in the USA
Aditya Bharadwaj,Jessica Potts,Mohamed O. Mohamed,Purvi Parwani,Pooja Swamy,Juan Lopez-Mattei,Muhammad Rashid,Chun Shing Kwok,David L. Fischman,Vassilios S. Vassiliou,Philip Freeman,Erin D. Michos,Mamas A. Mamas +12 more
TL;DR: A concomitant cancer diagnosis is associated with a conservative medical management strategy for AMI, and worse clinical outcomes, compared to patients without cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multimodality Intravascular Imaging to Evaluate Sex Differences in Plaque Morphology in Stable CAD
Aditya Bharadwaj,Yuliya Vengrenyuk,Takahiro Yoshimura,Usman Baber,Choudhury Hasan,Jagat Narula,Samin K. Sharma,Annapoorna Kini +7 more
TL;DR: Among men and women with stable CAD referred for coronary angiography, there was no difference in plaque characteristics as assessed by multimodality imaging, suggesting that equally aggressive primary and secondary preventive efforts irrespective of sex must be undertaken.
