Partial shading mitigation of PV systems via different meta-heuristic techniques
TL;DR: This paper intended to present novel optimization techniques to mitigate the PS effect and proficiently track the global maximum power point (GMPP) and gives an open reference to these optimizers to attempt mass research works in PV systems under PS.
Journal ArticleDOI
Application of Different Optimization Algorithms for Optimal Sizing of PV/Wind/Diesel/Battery Storage Stand-Alone Hybrid Microgrid
TL;DR: Simulation results confirmed the promising performance of the hybrid WOA over the other algorithms, and a comprehensive comparison has been accomplished between the proposed optimization techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI
The impact of social, environmental and corporate governance disclosures on firm value: Evidence from Egypt
Ahmed Aboud,Ahmed A. Zaki Diab +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the impact of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices disclosure and firm value in the Egyptian context and found that firms listed in the ESG index have higher firm value, and that there is a positive association between firms' higher rankings in the index and firm values, as measured by Tobin's q.
Journal ArticleDOI
Coyote Optimization Algorithm for Parameters Estimation of Various Models of Solar Cells and PV Modules
TL;DR: Simulation results, as well as the statistical measurement, validate the superiority and the reliability of the COA algorithm not only for parameter extraction of different PV modules but also under different operating scenarios.
Journal ArticleDOI
Global MPPT based on flower pollination and differential evolution algorithms to mitigate partial shading in building integrated PV system
TL;DR: In this paper, a technique called Flower Pollination Algorithm (FPA) is proposed to mitigate partial shading condition (PSC) on building integrated photovoltaic power system (BIPVPS) and its mitigation is introduced.
