Real-Space Observation of Current-Driven Domain Wall Motion in Submicron Magnetic Wires

TL;DR: Direct observation of current-driven magnetic domain wall (DW) displacement by using a well-defined single DW in a microfabricated magnetic wire with submicron width is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Joule heating in current-driven domain wall motion

TL;DR: In this paper, it was found that high current density needed for the current-driven domain wall motion results in the Joule heating of the sample, and the sample temperature was estimated by measuring the sample resistance during the application of a pulsed current.

Rectification of radio frequency current in ferromagnetic nanowire

TL;DR: In this article, the rectification of a constant wave radio frequency (RF) current by using a single-layer magnetic nanowire was reported. And the mechanism of rectification was discussed in terms of the spin-torque diode effect reported for magnetic tunnel junction devices, and was shown to be directly attributable to resonant spin wave excitation by the rf current.
