Antitumor activity of a systemic STING-activating non-nucleotide cGAMP mimetic
Emily N. Chin,Chenguang Yu,Chenguang Yu,Vincent F. Vartabedian,Ying Jia,Manoj Kumar,Ana M. Gamo,William Vernier,Sabrina H. Ali,Mildred Kissai,Daniel C. Lazar,Nhan T. Nguyen,Laura E. Pereira,Brent Benish,Ashley K. Woods,Sean B. Joseph,Alan Chu,Kristen Johnson,Philipp N. Sander,Francisco Martínez-Peña,Eric Hampton,Travis S. Young,Dennis W. Wolan,Arnab K. Chatterjee,Peter G. Schultz,Peter G. Schultz,H. Michael Petrassi,John R. Teijaro,Luke L. Lairson +28 more
TL;DR: A non-nucleotide, small-molecule STING agonist, termed SR-717, that demonstrates broad interspecies and interallelic specificity and functions as a direct cyclic guanosine monophosphate–adenosine monophile mimetic that induces the same “closed” conformation of STING.
Journal ArticleDOI
Discovery of Potent Coumarin-Based Kinetic Stabilizers of Amyloidogenic Immunoglobulin Light Chains Using Structure-Based Design.
Nicholas L. Yan,Diogo Santos-Martins,Reji N. Nair,Alan Chu,Ian A. Wilson,Kristen Johnson,Stefano Forli,Gareth J. Morgan,H. Michael Petrassi,Jeffery W. Kelly +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, using protease sensitivity assays, the authors identified stabilizers that can be divided into four substructures, and showed that the stabilizers exhibit nanomolar EC50 values, a 3000-fold enhancement over the screening hits.

Monocyclic agonists of stimulator of interferon genes sting
Hank Michael James Petrassi,Chenguang Yu,Jie Wang,Arnab K. Chatterjee,Albero Ana Maria Gamo,Anil K. Gupta,Junko Tamiya,Peter G. Schultz,Kristen Johnson,Alan Chu,Emily N. Chin,Luke L. Lairson +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provided compounds having STIMulator of INterferon Genes (STING) agonistic bioactivity that can be used in the treatment of tumors in patients afflicted therewith.
