TL;DR: It is demonstrated that actinomycin D, at low concentrations, inhibits proliferation and induces cell death in vitro, as well as tumor regression in vivo and it is proposed that use of ribosome biogenesis inhibitors should be clinically considered as a potential therapy to treat neuroblastomas.

Gene expression of regulatory enzymes of glycolysis/gluconeogenesis in regenerating rat liver.
TL;DR: All enzymes showed variations in their mRNA levels after the surgical stress, and the differences were more pronounced in regenerating liver than in sham-operated animals, being practically normalized at 24 h.
