The 2014 kida network for interstellar chemistry
Valentine Wakelam,Jean-Christophe Loison,E. Herbst,B. Pavone,Astrid Bergeat,K. Béroff,Marin Chabot,Alexandre Faure,Alexandre Faure,Daniele Galli,Wolf D. Geppert,Dieter Gerlich,Pierre Gratier,Nanase Harada,Kevin M. Hickson,Pascal Honvault,Pascal Honvault,Stephen J. Klippenstein,S. D. Le Picard,Gunnar Nyman,M. Ruaud,Stephan Schlemmer,Ian R. Sims,D. Talbi,Jonathan Tennyson,Roland Wester +25 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used a network of chemical reactions and associated rate coefficients to study the chemical composition of the gas and the ices in the interstellar medium, which is based on the network of reactions.
Journal ArticleDOI
The 2014 KIDA network for interstellar chemistry
Valentine Wakelam,Jean-Christophe Loison,E. Herbst,B. Pavone,Astrid Bergeat,K. Béroff,Marin Chabot,Alexandre Faure,Alexandre Faure,Daniele Galli,Wolf D. Geppert,Dieter Gerlich,Pierre Gratier,Nanase Harada,Kevin M. Hickson,Pascal Honvault,Pascal Honvault,Stephen J. Klippenstein,S. D. Le Picard,Gunnar Nyman,M. Ruaud,Stephan Schlemmer,Ian R. Sims,D. Talbi,Jonathan Tennyson,Roland Wester +25 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new updated version of the kida.uva public gas-phase network is presented, which is based on a network of chemical reactions and associated rate coefficients.
Journal ArticleDOI
A study of deuterated water in the low-mass protostar IRAS16293-2422
Audrey Coutens,Charlotte Vastel,Emmanuel Caux,Cecilia Ceccarelli,Sandrine Bottinelli,Laurent Wiesenfeld,Alexandre Faure,Yohann Scribano,Claudine Kahane +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a spectral survey of the source IRAS16293-2422 was carried out in the framework of the CHESS Herschel Key program with the HIFI instrument, allowing the detection of numerous HDO lines.
Journal ArticleDOI
Refractory and semi-volatile organics at the surface of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko: Insights from the VIRTIS/Rosetta imaging spectrometer
Eric Quirico,L. Moroz,Bernard Schmitt,Gabriele Arnold,M. Faure,Pierre Beck,Lydie Bonal,Mauro Ciarniello,Fabrizio Capaccioni,Gianrico Filacchione,Stéphane Erard,C. Leyrat,Dominique Bockelée-Morvan,Angelo Zinzi,Ernesto Palomba,Pierre Drossart,Federico Tosi,Maria Teresa Capria,M. C. De Sanctis,Andrea Raponi,S. Fonti,F. Merlin,Giuseppe Piccioni,Batiste Rousseau,Fredric W. Taylor +36 more
TL;DR: The VIRTIS (Visible, Infrared and Thermal Imaging Spectrometer) instrument aboard the Rosetta spacecraft has performed extensive spectral mapping of the surface of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko in the range 0.3-5µm as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Methanol emission from low mass protostars
Sébastien Maret,Cecilia Ceccarelli,Alexander G. G. M. Tielens,Emmanuel Caux,Bertrand Lefloch,Alexandre Faure,Alain Castets,D. R. Flower +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used a 1-D radiative transfer model to derive the abundances in the envelopes of low-mass protostars and showed that the observed methanol abundance reflects recent evaporation of ices due to the heating by the newly formed star.
