The 2014 kida network for interstellar chemistry

TLDR
In this paper, the authors used a network of chemical reactions and associated rate coefficients to study the chemical composition of the gas and the ices in the interstellar medium, which is based on the network of reactions.
Abstract
Chemical models used to study the chemical composition of the gas and the ices in the interstellar medium are based on a network of chemical reactions and associated rate coefficients. These reacti ...

Detection of the aromatic molecule benzonitrile (c-C6H5CN) in the interstellar medium.

TL;DR: The discovery of benzonitrile (c-C6H5CN), one of the simplest nitrogen-bearing aromatic molecules, in the interstellar medium is presented, providing a chemical link to the carriers of the unidentified infrared bands.

A chemical survey of exoplanets with ARIEL

Giovanna Tinetti, +243 more
TL;DR: The ARIEL mission as mentioned in this paper was designed to observe a large number of transiting planets for statistical understanding, including gas giants, Neptunes, super-Earths and Earth-size planets around a range of host star types using transit spectroscopy in the 1.25-7.8 μm spectral range and multiple narrow-band photometry in the optical.

Gas and grain chemical composition in cold cores as predicted by the Nautilus three-phase model

TL;DR: In this article, an extended version of the 2-phase gas-grain code NAUTILUS is applied to the 3-phase modelling of gas and grain chemistry of cold cores.

Formation of complex molecules in prestellar cores: a multilayer approach

TL;DR: In this article, a multilayer approach for the formation of complex molecules in Prestellar Cores was proposed, where complex molecules are formed by a multilevel approach. But it is not suitable for the case of complex molecular structures.

New gas–grain chemical models of quiescent dense interstellar clouds: the effects of H2 tunnelling reactions and cosmic ray induced desorption

TL;DR: In this article, a new model of the chemistry of dense interstellar clouds is presented in which both gas-phase and grain-surface chemistry occur, where dust-grain and gas temperatures are fixed at 10 K and the gas density remains at 2×10 4 cm −3 in these models, in order to represent the chemistry occurring in quiescent clouds.
