Mirko Piersanti,Tommaso Alberti,Alessandro Bemporad,Francesco Berrilli,Roberto Bruno,V. Capparelli,Vincenzo Carbone,Claudio Cesaroni,Giuseppe Consolini,A. Cristaldi,Alfredo Del Corpo,D. Del Moro,Simone Di Matteo,Ilaria Ermolli,Silvano Fineschi,Fabio Giannattasio,Fabrizio Giorgi,Luca Giovannelli,Salvatore L. Guglielmino,Monica Laurenza,Fabio Lepreti,Maria Federica Marcucci,Matteo Martucci,M. Merge,Michael Pezzopane,Ermanno Pietropaolo,Paolo Romano,Roberta Sparvoli,Luca Spogli,Marco Stangalini,A. Vecchio,Massimo Vellante,Umberto Villante,Francesca Zuccarello,Balázs Heilig,Jan Reda,János Lichtenberger +36 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a full-halo coronal mass ejection (CME) was associated with an M2-class flare observed at 01:42 UT, located near disk center (N12 E16).
Journal ArticleDOI
Observing the cold plasma in the earth's magnetosphere with the EMMA network
Alfredo Del Corpo,Massimo Vellante,Balázs Heilig,Ermanno Pietropaolo,Jan Reda,János Lichtenberger +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a semi-automated procedure was proposed to detect the field line resonance (FLR) frequencies and derived equatorial plasma mass densities in the inner magnetosphere from ULF measurements recorded at the European quasi-Meridional Magnetometer Array (EMMA).
Journal ArticleDOI
An Empirical Model for the Dayside Magnetospheric Plasma Mass Density Derived From EMMA Magnetometer Network Observations
Alfredo Del Corpo,Massimo Vellante,Balázs Heilig,Ermanno Pietropaolo,Jan Reda,János Lichtenberger,János Lichtenberger +6 more
Journal ArticleDOI
The use of the empirical mode decomposition for the identification of mean field aligned reference frames
TL;DR: In this article, an alternative and more efficient method for mean field aligned projection, based on the empirical mode decomposition (EMD), was proposed, which is more efficient than the classical moving average (MAVG) approach.
