Crop yield estimation by satellite remote sensing

TL;DR: In this article, two methods for estimating the yield of different crops in Hungary from satellite remote sensing data are presented, one for field level estimation and the other for estimating a vegetation index (general yield unified reference index) using a fitted double-Gaussian curve to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) data during the vegetation period.

The Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) - 2018 Summary Report

Clic, +693 more
TL;DR: The Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) as mentioned in this paper is a TeV-scale high-luminosity linear $e+e^-$ collider under development at CERN, which uses a two-beam acceleration scheme, in which 12 GHz accelerating structures are powered via a high-current drive beam.
Journal ArticleDOI

Statistical modelling of crop yield in Central Europe using climate data and remote sensing vegetation indices

TL;DR: In this article, multiple linear regression models were constructed to simulate the yield of winter wheat, rapeseed, maize and sunflower in Hungary for the 2000-2016 time period using meteorological data and soil water content from meteorological reanalysis as predictors of the models in monthly resolution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Total solar eclipse effects on VLF signals: Observations and modeling

TL;DR: In this article, the amplitude and phase of four VLF transmitters in the frequency range 16-24 kHz were measured during the total solar eclipse observed in Europe on August 11, 1999.
