Giant Enhancement of the Optical Second-Harmonic Emission of WSe 2 Monolayers by Laser Excitation at Exciton Resonances
Gang Wang,Xavier Marie,Iann C. Gerber,Thierry Amand,Delphine Lagarde,L. Bouet,Marta L. Vidal,Andrea Balocchi,Bernhard Urbaszek +8 more
TL;DR: It is shown that the light-matter interaction in monolayer WSe_{2} is strongly enhanced when the incoming electromagnetic wave is in resonance with the energy of the exciton states of strongly Coulomb bound electron-hole pairs below the electronic band gap.
Journal ArticleDOI
Exciton radiative lifetime in transition metal dichalcogenide monolayers
Cedric Robert,D. Lagarde,Fabian Cadiz,Gang Wang,Benjamin Lassagne,Thierry Amand,Andrea Balocchi,Pierre Renucci,Sefaattin Tongay,Bernhard Urbaszek,Xavier Marie +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the exciton dynamics in transition metal dichalcogenide monolayers were investigated using time-resolved photoluminescence experiments performed with optimized time resolution.
Journal ArticleDOI
Valley dynamics probed through charged and neutral exciton emission in monolayer WSe 2
Gang Wang,L. Bouet,D. Lagarde,M. Vidal,Andrea Balocchi,Thierry Amand,Xavier Marie,B. Urbaszek +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the emission and polarization dynamics of the well-separated neutral excitons (bound electron-hole pairs) and charged trions (trions) in photoluminescence were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hole–Nuclear Spin Interaction in Quantum Dots
B. Eble,Christophe Testelin,Pascal Desfonds,Fréderic Bernardot,Andrea Balocchi,Thierry Amand,Audrey Miard,Aristide Lemaître,Xavier Marie,Maria Chamarro +9 more
TL;DR: In the absence of an external magnetic field, calculations based on dipole-dipole coupling between the hole and the quantum dot nuclei lead to a hole-spin dephasing time for an ensemble of dots of 14 ns, in close agreement with experiments.
Journal ArticleDOI
Observation of exciton-phonon coupling in MoSe 2 monolayers
Shivangi Shree,M. A. Semina,Cedric Robert,Bo Han,Thierry Amand,Andrea Balocchi,M. Manca,E. Courtade,Xavier Marie,T. Taniguchi,Kenji Watanabe,M. M. Glazov,B. Urbaszek +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an analytical theory of the exciton-phonon interaction accounting for the deformation potential induced by the longitudinal acoustic phonons, which plays an important role in exciton formation, is presented.
