Toward the Synthesis of Heteroleptic Zinc ROP Initiators Based on Pyridine-Containing Monoalcohols by Tuning Ligand Substituents

TL;DR: In this article , the synthesis of two types of complexes (heteroleptic vs homoleptic) is accomplished by an elegant variation of the ligand design, which is achieved by synthesizing amide heteroleptic zinc complexes via ethane elimination.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and Crystal Structures of Halogen-Substituted 2-Aryl-N-phenylbenzimidazoles

TL;DR: In this paper , four 2-aryl benzimidazoles were synthesized and characterized by 1H, 13C{1H} NMR, UV-Vis spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Aluminum Salen Complexes Modified with Unsaturated Alcohol: Synthesis, Characterization, and Their Activity towards Ring-Opening Polymerization of ε-Caprolactone and D,L-Lactide

TL;DR: In this article , a one-step approach to macromonomer synthesis using modified aluminum complexes as catalysts of ring-opening polymerization (ROP) of ε-caprolactone and D,L-lactide was developed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Iodochlorination of Silyl- and Germylphenylacetylenes.

TL;DR: In this article, the reaction of Si- and Ge-substituted alkynes with KICl2 was investigated, and it was shown that (1-Germatranyl)-phenylacetylenes gave Z-iodochloroalkenes with chlorine and phenyl groups attached to the same carbon atom.
