Journal ArticleDOI

Crown-containing butadienyl dyes. 1. synthesis, structure, fluorescence, and complex formation of chromogenic aza-15-crown-5 ethers

TL;DR: In this article, the spatial structures and the absorption and fluorescence spectra of crown-containing butadienyl dyes and their complexes with metal cations were examined and the effects of the nature of the heterocyclic and crown ether fragments on fluorescence and generation of dyes were revealed based on the spectral data.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hypercoordinated Oligosilanes Based on Aminotrisphenols

TL;DR: The dependence of structural and NMR parameters for hypercoordinated catenated compounds from the type of the ligand was established and it was found that the nature of the (Me 3Si)3SiK solvate determines the product of interaction, resulting in the formation of (Me3Si)4OSi[(OC6H2Me2CH2)3N] (12) or 13.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterization of cobalt(II) and manganese(II) xylaratogermanates: The molecular and crystal structures of the [M(H2O)6][Ge(μ3-L)2{M(H2O)2}2] · 4H2O · nCH3CN Complexes (M = Co, n = 0; M = Mn, n = 1)

TL;DR: In this paper, a synthetic procedure was developed, and heteropolynuclear coordination compounds were developed, the products of the interaction of germanium tetrachloride with xylaric (trihydroxyglutaric) acid HOOC-CH(H)-CH(OH)-CH/COOH (H5L) and the acetates of the 3d metals Mn(II) and Co(II), where the compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, thermogravimetry, and IR spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structure, and catalytic activity of new aluminum and titanium complexes based on aminobisphenolate ligands containing bulky substituents

TL;DR: In this article, a reaction of aminobisphenols with trimethylaluminum and tetra(tert-butoxy)titanium gave two new aluminum derivatives with the Me-Al bond.
Journal ArticleDOI

Supramolecular Organogels Based on N-Benzyl, N′-Acylbispidinols

TL;DR: The hydrogen bonding involving amide carbonyl, hydroxyl at position 9, and, very probably, ammonium N-H+ and Cl− anion appears to be responsible for the formation of infinite molecular chains required for the first step of gel formation.
