Journal ArticleDOI

Presence of esterase and laccase in Bacillus subtilis facilitates biodegradation and detoxification of cypermethrin.

TL;DR: Cypermethrin biodegradation ability of Bacillus subtilis strain 1D without producing any toxic end product reveals the potential of this organism in cleaning of pesticide contaminated soil and water.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biotechnological basis of microbial consortia for the removal of pesticides from the environment.

TL;DR: In this article, a review comprehensively discusses the recent applications of microbial consortia in pesticide degradation and environmental bioremediation, and the future directions of synthetic consorties have been explored.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced Cypermethrin Degradation Kinetics and Metabolic Pathway in Bacillus thuringiensis Strain SG4.

TL;DR: Analysis of the degradation products revealed that cypermethrin could be degraded first by cleavage of its ester bond, followed by degradation of the benzene ring, and subsequent metabolism, and a new degradation pathway for cypermETHrin was proposed based on analysis of the metabolites.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of zn solubilizing bacteria on growth promotion and zn nutrition of rice

TL;DR: Three bacterial strains namely; BC, AX and AB isolated from a Zn-deficient rice-wheat field belonging to the genera Burkholderia and Acinetobacter were investigated for the growth promotion and Zn uptake in rice plants.
