12-Tungstophosphoric acid anchored to SBA-15: An efficient, environmentally benign reusable catalysts for biodiesel production by esterification of free fatty acids
Varsha Brahmkhatri,Anjali Patel +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a 12-Tungstophosphoric acid anchored to SBA-15 was synthesized and characterized by various physico-chemical techniques such as TGA, FT-IR, DRS, XRD, N 2 adsorption-desorption, solid state NMR (31 P and 29 Si), SEM and TEM.
Journal ArticleDOI
Recent progress on supported polyoxometalates for biodiesel synthesis via esterification and transesterification
TL;DR: In this paper, the catalytic esterification and transesterification reactions to the clean synthesis of biodiesel, over most readily investigated supported polyoxometalates to meet future societal demands are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Biodiesel production by esterification of free fatty acid over sulfated zirconia.
TL;DR: In this article, the use of synthesized catalyst was explored for biodiesel production by esterification of (free fatty acid) oleic acid with methanol, and the influence of various reaction parameters (catalyst concentration, acid/alcohol molar ratio, catalyst amount, reaction temperature and reaction time) on catalytic performance was studied to optimize the conditions for maximum yield of methyl oleate.
Journal ArticleDOI
A green and sustainable approach for esterification of glycerol using 12-tungstophosphoric acid anchored to different supports: Kinetics and effect of support
Anjali Patel,Sukriti Singh +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a 12-tungstophosphoric anchored to MCM-41 and zirconia was used for the esterification of glycerol, a value added byproduct from biodiesel production.
Journal ArticleDOI
Kinetic study of oleic acid esterification over 12-tungstophosphoric acid catalyst anchored to different mesoporous silica supports
Anjali Patel,Varsha Brahmkhatri +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a synthesized catalyst comprising 12-tungstophosphoric acid anchored to two different mesoporous silica supports, MCM-41 and SBA-15, was characterized and used as heterogeneous acid catalyst for biodiesel production by esterification of oleic acid with methanol.
