Journal ArticleDOI
Pyramidal nitrogen atoms in a diquinolyl chelate ring: X-ray crystal structure of η3-allyl(8,8′-dimethyl-2,2′-diquinolyl)palladium(II) perchlorate dichloromethane solvate
TL;DR: The Pd atom lying 1·10 A out of the plane of the bidentate diquinolyl ligand is pyramidal as mentioned in this paper, as a consequence the nitrogen atoms are pyramididal.
Journal ArticleDOI
Related triply-bridging ligands derived from triosmium dodecacarbonyl and formamidines or 2-aminopyridines
Antony J. Deeming,Roy Peters +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that N -Benzyl-2-aminopyridine gives isomers analogous to each of these clusters, the difference being in the ability of the benzyl group to be ortho-metallated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reactions of benzothiazolide triosmium clusters with tetramethylthiourea
Noorjahan Begum,Antony J. Deeming,Mohammad Khairul Islam,Shariff E. Kabir,Dalia Rokhsana,Edward Rosenberg +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the valence saturated benzothiazolide triosmium cluster [Os 3 (CO) 10 (μ-η 2 -C 7 H 4 NS)(μ-H)] reacts with tetramethylthiourea in refluxing cyclohexane to give two new compounds.
Journal ArticleDOI
The addition of protic acids to [Mn2(CO)5(Ph2PCH2PPh2)2] to give bridging hydrido-compounds
TL;DR: In this paper, the 1H n.m.n.r. spectra of all protonated compounds with weakly co-ordinating anions (HBF4 or HSO3F) were characterized.
