Journal ArticleDOI
Anti-correlation of HER2 and focal adhesion complexes in the plasma membrane.
Florian Weinberg,Mitchell K. L. Han,Indra N. Dahmke,Aránzazu del Campo,Aránzazu del Campo,Niels de Jonge,Niels de Jonge +6 more
TL;DR: A spatial anti-correlation between HER2 and focal adhesion complexes for adherent cells is suggested for breast cancer cells overexpressing HER2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of bioactive catechol functionalized nanoparticles applicable for 3D bioprinting.
María Puertas-Bartolomé,María Puertas-Bartolomé,María Puertas-Bartolomé,Małgorzata K. Włodarczyk-Biegun,Aránzazu del Campo,Aránzazu del Campo,Blanca Vázquez-Lasa,Julio San Román,Julio San Román +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a catechol bearing polymeric nanoparticles (NPs) were used in a hydrogel bioink formulation using carboxymethyl chitosan and hyaluronic acid as polymeric matrices.
Journal ArticleDOI
The mechanics of single cross-links which mediate cell attachment at a hydrogel surface
TL;DR: The response of cultured cells to the mechanical properties of hydrogel substrates depends ultimately on the response of single crosslinks to external forces exerted at cell attachment points, and the quantification of stiffness and deformation at the molecular length scale contributes to the discussion of mechanisms in force-regulated phenomena in cell biology.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thiol-Methylsulfone-Based Hydrogels for Cell Encapsulation: Reactivity Optimization of Aryl-Methylsulfone Substrate for Fine-Tunable Gelation Rate and Improved Stability
Julieta I. Paez,Adrián de Miguel-Jiménez,Adrián de Miguel-Jiménez,Rocío Valbuena-Mendoza,Rocío Valbuena-Mendoza,Aditi Rathore,Minye Jin,Minye Jin,Alisa Gläser,Samuel Pearson,Aránzazu del Campo,Aránzazu del Campo +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the reactivity optimization of the heteroaromatic ring of the methylsulfones (MS) partner was proposed to slow down the cross-linking kinetics and the degradability of derived hydrogels.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chitosan-based inks: 3D printing and bioprinting strategies to improve shape fidelity, mechanical properties, and biocompatibility of 3D scaffolds
Ana Mora Boza,Małgorzata K. Włodarczyk-Biegun,Aránzazu del Campo,Blanca Vázquez-Lasal,Julio San Román +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors revisamos el estado del arte relacionado with las estrategias actuales de impresion 3D that hacen uso of tintas and biotintas basadas in quitosano for el desarrollo of soportes biomimeticos.
