Biotechnological approaches for cocoa waste management: A review.
Zulma Sarmiento Vásquez,Dão Pedro de Carvalho Neto,Gilberto Vinícius de Melo Pereira,Luciana Porto de Souza Vandenberghe,Priscilla Zwiercheczewski de Oliveira,Patrick B. Tiburcio,Hervé Rogez,Aristóteles Góes Neto,Carlos Ricardo Soccol +8 more
TL;DR: The biotechnological approaches implemented for the management and exploitation of cocoa by-product, related topics on cocoa production and residual biomass generation, sustainability and valorization of cocoa chain are addressed and discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rapidly evolving changes and gene loss associated with host switching in Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis.
Marcus Vinicius Canário Viana,Arne Sahm,Aristóteles Góes Neto,Henrique César Pereira Figueiredo,Alice R. Wattam,Vasco Azevedo +5 more
TL;DR: The fact that some of these more-rapidly evolving genes have homology to known virulence factors, antimicrobial resistance genes and drug targets shows that this type of analysis could be used to identify novel targets, and that thesecould be used as a way to control this pathogen.

TL;DR: The recent evolution and diffusion of DENV1 and DENV2 in Brazil is described, serving as proof-of-concept of the potential of portable sequencing for both research and local capacity building in the area of genomic surveillance of arboviruses.
