Robust isolated word recognition using WSP-PMC combination.
Tzur Vaich,Arnon D. Cohen +1 more
TL;DR: A new robust algorithm for isolated word recognition in low SNR environments is suggested and it is shown that the algorithm outperforms the conventional HMM in the SNR range of 5 to 20db, and the PMC algorithm in the range 0 to-9db.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dose-dependent association of proton pump inhibitors use with gastric intestinal metaplasia among Helicobacter pylori-positive patients:
Yifat Snir,Haim Leibovitzh,Yaara Leibovici-Weissman,Alex Vilkin,Arnon D. Cohen,Arnon D. Cohen,Tzippy Shochat,Yaron Niv,Yaron Niv,Iris Dotan,Iris Dotan,Ilan Feldhamer,Doron Boltin,Doron Boltin,Zohar Levi,Zohar Levi +15 more
TL;DR: Among Helicobacter pylori‐positive patients, proton pump inhibitor use appears to be associated with a dose‐dependent increased likelihood of gastric intestinal metaplasia.
Journal ArticleDOI
P708 Helicobacter pylori and IBD are inversely related, suggesting that individuals infected with the bacteria are less susceptible to the disease
Lev Lichtenstein,Doron Boltin,H. Leibovici,T. Tsadok Perets,Irit Avni,Doron Comaneshter,Yaara Leibovici-Weissman,Arnon D. Cohen,Yaron Niv,Zohar Levi +9 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Hidradenitis suppurativa and the risk of myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accident, and peripheral vascular disease: a population-based study
TL;DR: Patients with HS are at an increased risk of MI, but not CVA and PVD, and awareness of these epidemiological findings is of importance for clinicians managing patients with HS.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Ab0788 lupus co-morbidity in patients with psoriatic arthritis: a population-based case-controlled study
Danielle Korkus,Tal Gazitt,Ilan Feldhamer,Idit Lavi,Amir Haddad,Erez Batat,Sari Greenberg-Dotan,Arnon D. Cohen,Arnon D. Cohen,Devy Zisman +9 more
TL;DR: A 2.3 fold increase in the prevalence of SLE in PsA patients than in the control group was found in the study population, and the positive correlates between SLE and PsA may point to common underlying pathogenetic pathways.
