Characterization of optical properties of bacterial micro-colonies via the comprehensive morphology analyzer
TL;DR: In this paper, an optical morphology analyzer was constructed based on a laser confocal displacement meter to simultaneously obtain the optical properties of colonies, which showed promising results for differentiating micro-colonies in the range of 100~300 μm based on the morphological differences among different species using light scattering.

Inactivation kinetics of Bacillus atrophaeus in liquid hydrogen peroxide for aseptic package sterilization
Manoj Sawale,Xiang Cheng,Rishi Drolia,Patnarin Benyathiar,Ferhan Ozadali,Arun K. Bhunia,Dharmendra K. Mishra +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a methodology for the kinetic inactivation parameter estimation of B. atrophaeus was developed to validate the sterilization processes of liquid hydrogen peroxide at different temperatures.

Modeling of Multi-spectral Forward Light Scattering Patterns from Bacterial Colonies
TL;DR: In this paper, the forward scattering patterns of the bacterial colony for multiple wavelengths were predicted with scalar diffraction theory, and the phase and number of diffraction rings were distinguishably varied.
