TL;DR: In this study, influenza was found to be independently associated with invasive pulmonary aspergillosis, along with a higher APACHE II score, male sex, and use of corticosteroids, and is associated with high mortality.

TL;DR: The admission rate of patients with an acute intoxication varies considerably, especially in the case of intoxications with drugs of abuse, which may indicate adherence to guidelines by the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology, European Association of Poisons Centres and Clinical Toxicologists.
