Journal ArticleDOI
Extractive Bioconversions in Aqueous Two-Phase Systems
TL;DR: Les biocatalyseurs peuvent etre recuperes a partir de la phase dans laquelle ils se concentrent d'un polymere soluble comme substrat et comme composant de the phase.
Journal ArticleDOI
Coupled Enzyme Reactions in Flow Injection Analysis and Liquid Chromatographya
E. Domínguez,György Marko-Varga,H.L. Lan,Yoshi Okamoto,P.D. Hale,Terje Skotheim,Bärbel Hahn-Hägerdal,Lo Gorton +7 more
TL;DR: Coupled sequential reactions are suitable analytical reagents for immobilized enzymes because of their selective molecular recognition and long-term operational performance and the selectivity of the analysis can be improved and therefore the accuracy improved, diminishing the risk of interferences.
Journal ArticleDOI
Increasing ethanol productivity from xylose in recombinant Saccharomyces cerevisiae by protein engineering
Journal ArticleDOI
Close to the Edge: Growth Restrained by the NAD(P)H/ATP Formation Flux Ratio.
TL;DR: An interpretation is presented suggesting that this quantitative analysis can be applied beyond the two microbial species experimentally investigated in the current study to provide data for future targeted strain development strategies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of UF and RO in a cellulose saccharification process
TL;DR: In this paper, the applications of membrane separation within the bioconversion of lignocellulosic materials to ethanol are studied, and the authors report on cellulolytic enzyme recovery, and reduction of the product inhibition.
