TL;DR: It is demonstrated that enhancing mitochondrial protein SNO protects against IR‐induced denervation at NMJ in skeletal muscle and accelerates functional regeneration, which could be an efficacious intervention for protecting neuromuscular injury under the condition of IR and other related pathological conditions.

TL;DR: It is found that endurance exercise training prevents symptomatic onset of FRDA in mice associated with improved mitochondrial function and reduced oxidative stress, and may pave the way for clinical studies of the impact of endurance exercise in FRDA patients.
