Likelihood inference for exchangeable continuous data with covariates and varying cluster sizes; use of the Farlie–Gumbel–Morgenstern model

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the Farlie-Gumbel-Morgenstern class of models for exchangeable continuous data and proposed an alternative to direct numerical maximization of the likelihood that sometimes exhibits nonconvergence problems.
Journal ArticleDOI

A note on the local asymptotically minimax rate for estimating a crossing point in a diagnostic marker problem

TL;DR: In this paper, the optimal rate of convergence of estimating the crossing point of two densities in the local asymptotically minimax sense is discussed, and the rate is shown to be the same as that of density estimation under smoothness conditions on the two distribution functions.
