Uffinger,A. Ulrich,I. Usherov,S. Wawoczny,M. Willers,M. Wüstrich,A. Zöller +55 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed low-background data from the CRESST-II experiment with a total net exposure of 730 kg days to extract limits on double electron capture processes.

Schmaler,S. Scholl,W. Seidel,Leo Stodolsky,A. J. B. Tolhurst,I. Usherov,W. Westphal +40 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured and explained scintillator non-proportionality and gamma quenching of CaWO4 at low energies and low temperatures, and showed that gamma-induced events gave only about 90 percent of the light yield of electrons, at energies between 40keV and 80keV.

Willers,A. Zoeller +35 more
TL;DR: In this paper, preliminary results from the CREEST II Dark Matter search, with 730 kg-days of data, are presented, with major backgrounds and methods of identifying and dealing with them are indicated.

Scholl,W. Seidel,Leo Stodolsky,A. J. B. Tolhurst,I. Usherov,W. Westphal +40 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used a tungsten thin-film structure evaporated onto the CaWO4 absorber crystal to detect WIMPs by elastic scattering off nuclei, generating phononic lattice excitations and scintillation light.
Journal ArticleDOI
Energy calibration of superconducting transition edge sensors for x-ray detection using pulse analysis
C. Hollerith,B. Simmnacher,R. Weiland,F. v. Feilitzsch,C. Isaila,J. Jochum,W. Potzel,J. Höhne,K. Phelan,D. Wernicke,T. May +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, a method is introduced to calibrate the energy scale of transition edge sensors (TES) spectra by calculating the energy dependence of the response of the detector operated in electrothermal feedback mode.
