Emilie Sbidian,Anna Chaimani,Ignacio García-Doval,Giao Do,Camille Hua,C. Mazaud,Catherine Droitcourt,Carolyn Hughes,John R. Ingram,Luigi Naldi,Olivier Chosidow,L. Le Cleach +11 more
TL;DR: A network meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials of systemic and biological treatments in adults with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis and a ranking of these treatments according to their efficacy and safety is conducted.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prognostic factors in necrotizing soft-tissue infections (NSTI): A cohort study.
Camille Hua,Emilie Sbidian,François Hemery,Jean Winoc Decousser,Romain Bosc,Roland Amathieu,Alain Rahmouni,Pierre Wolkenstein,Pierre Wolkenstein,Laurence Valeyrie-Allanore,Laurence Valeyrie-Allanore,Christian Brun-Buisson,Nicolas de Prost,Olivier Chosidow,Olivier Chosidow +14 more
TL;DR: The findings for this robust cohort of patients with a definite diagnosis of NSTi could help clinicians stratify NSTI severity at clinical course onset.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pathogen identification by shotgun metagenomics of patients with necrotizing soft‐tissue infections
Christophe Rodriguez,Aude Jary,Camille Hua,Paul-Louis Woerther,Romain Bosc,M. Desroches,E. Sitterlé,G. Gricourt,N. de Prost,Jean-Michel Pawlotsky,Olivier Chosidow,Olivier Chosidow,Emilie Sbidian,Emilie Sbidian,Jean-Winoc Decousser +14 more
TL;DR: Necrotizing soft‐tissue infections are life threatening, requiring broad‐spectrum antibiotics, and their aetiological diagnosis can be limited by poor performance of cultures and administration of antibiotics before surgery.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interventions for necrotizing soft tissue infections in adults
Camille Hua,Romain Bosc,Emilie Sbidian,Nicolas de Prost,Carolyn Hughes,Patricia Jabre,Olivier Chosidow,L. Le Cleach +7 more
TL;DR: The primary outcome measures were mortality within 30 days, and proportion of participants who experience a serious adverse event, and the quality of the evidence for each outcome.
Journal ArticleDOI
Epidermal hepcidin is required for neutrophil response to bacterial infection
Mariangela Malerba,Sabine Louis,Sylvain Cuvellier,Srikanth Mairpady Shambat,Camille Hua,Camille Gomart,Agnès Fouet,Nicolas Ortonne,Nicolas Ortonne,Jean-Winoc Decousser,Annelies S. Zinkernagel,Annelies S. Zinkernagel,Jacques Mathieu,Carole Peyssonnaux +13 more
TL;DR: It is reported here that hepcidin production is induced in the skin of patients with group A Streptococcus (GAS) NF, and injection of synthetic hePCidin at the site of infection can limit or completely prevent systemic spread of GAS infection, suggesting that he pcidin agonists could have a therapeutic role in NF.
