Journal ArticleDOI
Ovarian-Adnexal Reporting Data System Magnetic Resonance Imaging (O-RADS MRI) score for risk stratification of sonographically indeterminate adnexal masses.
Isabelle Thomassin-Naggara,Isabelle Thomassin-Naggara,E. Poncelet,Aurélie Jalaguier-Coudray,Adalgisa Guerra,Laure Fournier,Sanja Stojanovic,Ingrid Millet,Nishat Bharwani,Valérie Juhan,Teresa Margarida Cunha,Gabriele Masselli,Corinne Balleyguier,Caroline Malhaire,Nicolas Perrot,Elizabeth A. Sadowski,Elizabeth A. Sadowski,Marc Bazot,Patrice Taourel,Raphaël Porcher,Emile Daraï,Caroline Reinhold,Caroline Reinhold,Andrea Rockall,Andrea Rockall,Andrea Rockall +25 more
TL;DR: Applying the O-RADS MRI score in clinical practice may allow a tailored, patient-centered approach for adnexal masses that are sonographically indeterminate, preventing unnecessary surgery, less extensive surgery, or fertility preservation when appropriate, while ensuring preoperative detection of lesions with a high likelihood of malignancy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Vacuum-assisted biopsies under MR guidance: results of 72 procedures.
Caroline Malhaire,C. El Khoury,Fabienne Thibault,A. Athanasiou,P. Petrow,L. Ollivier,Anne Tardivon +6 more
TL;DR: MRI-guided VAB represents an accurate tool for the histological diagnosis of lesions visible only at MRI for breast cancer patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preoperative staging of liver metastases from uveal melanoma by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography (FDG-PET)
Vincent Servois,Pascale Mariani,Caroline Malhaire,Slavomir Petras,Sophie Piperno-Neumann,C. Plancher,Christine Levy-Gabriel,L. Lumbroso-Le Rouic,Laurence Desjardins,Rémy Salmon +9 more
TL;DR: MRI was superior to FDG-PET for staging of liver metastases from uveal melanoma, and although miliary disease was suggested by MRI in some cases, preoperative confirmation remains imperfect.
Journal ArticleDOI
Five simultaneous artificial intelligence data challenges on ultrasound, CT, and MRI
Nathalie Lassau,Théo Estienne,P. de Vomecourt,M. Azoulay,J. Cagnol,G. Garcia,M. Majer,E. Jehanno,Raphaëlle Renard-Penna,C. Balleyguier,François Bidault,Caroline Caramella,T. Jacques,F. Dubrulle,J. Meder,Anne Cotten +59 more
TL;DR: The accurate results of three of the five modalities suggest that artificial intelligence is a promising tool in these radiology modalities.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pelvic insufficiency fracture (PIF) incidence in patients treated with intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) for gynaecological or anal cancer: single-institution experience and review of the literature.
L. Bazire,H.P. Xu,Jean-Philippe Foy,M. Amessis,Caroline Malhaire,K.I. Cao,Anne de la Rochefordière,Youlia M. Kirova +7 more
TL;DR: The incidence of pelvic fracture after IMRT is low, but is higher after the age of 50 and in patients who are postmenopausal, which could be useful prior to the management of patients with anal or gynaecological cancer treated by pelvic intensity-modulated radiation therapy.
