Dynamic mechanical and thermal behavior of epoxy resins based on soybean oil

TL;DR: In this article, the properties of materials prepared by curing epoxidized soybean oil with various cyclic acid anhydrides in the presence of tertiary amines were investigated by dynamic mechanical thermal analysis and thermogravimetry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel bowl-shaped morphology of crew-cut aggregates from amphiphilic block copolymers of styrene and 5-(N, N-diethylamino)isoprene

TL;DR: In this paper, a new morphology of crew-cut aggregates prepared from highly asymmetric triblock copolymers of 5-(N,N-diethylamino)isoprene and styrene in dilute solution is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Polyurethane networks from formiated soy polyols: Synthesis and mechanical characterization

TL;DR: In this paper, soy epoxy polyols with different OH contents were prepared through a one-step reaction using the method of in situ performic acid generation, and they were reacted in bulk with different diisocyanates at a NCO/OH molar ratio of 0.8 and 60°C for 24 hours.
Journal ArticleDOI

Rigid polyurethane foam based on modified vegetable oil

TL;DR: Soybean oil and castor oil were modified and used to prepare rigid polyurethane foam with similar properties to a commercial foam used for thermal insula- tion applications as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate concentration on polymer network of adhesive resin.

TL;DR: Higher HEMA content increases dental adhesive resin degradation and the degree of conversion, polymerization rate, ultimate tensile strength, water sorption, and solubility of the adhesive resin blends were determined.
