Bacterial adhesion studies on titanium, titanium nitride and modified hydroxyapatite thin films
Y. L. Jeyachandran,S. Venkatachalam,B. Karunagaran,Sa. K. Narayandass,D. Mangalaraj,Chongyun Bao,Chao-Liang Zhang +6 more
TL;DR: A qualitative study on adhesion of the oral bacteria Porphyromonas gingivalis on titanium (Ti), titanium nitride (TiN), fluorine modified hydroxyapatite (FHA), and zinc modified FHA (Zn-FHA) thin films is investigated in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Organic composite-mediated surface coating of human acellular bone matrix with strontium.
Yi-Zhou Huang,Jing-Jing Wang,Yong-Can Huang,Cheng-Guang Wu,Yi Zhang,Chao-Liang Zhang,Lin Bai,Huiqi Xie,Zhaoyang Li,Li Deng +9 more
TL;DR: An organic composite-mediated strontium coating strategy for ACBM scaffolds is developed by using the ion chelating ability of carboxymethyl cellulose and the surface adhesion ability of dopamine, which resulted in good biocompatibility and improved osteoinductivity.
Journal ArticleDOI
The poor osteoinductive capability of human acellular bone matrix.
Yi-Zhou Huang,Jia-Qin Cai,Jing Xue,Xiaohe Chen,Chao-Liang Zhang,Xiuqun Li,Zhi-Ming Yang,Yong-Can Huang,Li Deng +8 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that human ACBM possess the structural features of native bone and poor osteoinductivity; nonetheless this material helped to preserve the undifferentiated phenotype of rBM-MSCs.
