Cross-Linking with Diamine Monomers To Prepare Composite Graphene Oxide-Framework Membranes with Varying d-Spacing
Wei-Song Hung,Chi-Hui Tsou,Chi-Hui Tsou,Manuel Reyes De Guzman,Quan-Fu An,Ying-Ling Liu,Ya-Ming Zhang,Chien-Chieh Hu,Kueir-Rarn Lee,Juin-Yih Lai +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, three diamine monomers were selected for cross-linking graphene oxide (GO) to prepare composite graphene oxide-framework (GOF) membranes through filtration using a pressure assisted self-assembly technique.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of microstructure of graphene oxide fabricated through different self-assembly techniques on 1-butanol dehydration
Chi-Hui Tsou,Chi-Hui Tsou,Quan-Fu An,Shen-Chuan Lo,Manuel Reyes De Guzman,Wei-Song Hung,Chien-Chieh Hu,Kueir-Rarn Lee,Juin-Yih Lai +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a self-assembly technique with evaporation resulted in a heterogeneous GO layer with loop structures; this layer was shown to be hydrophobic, in contrast to the hydrophilic layer formed from the other two techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI
Compatible and crystallization properties of poly(lactic acid)/poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate) blends
Jen-Taut Yeh,Jen-Taut Yeh,Jen-Taut Yeh,Chi-Hui Tsou,Chi-Yuan Huang,Kan-Nan Chen,Chin-San Wu,Wan-Lan Chai +7 more
TL;DR: Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), wide angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD) and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) properties of poly(lactic acid)/ poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate) (PLA/PBAT) specimens suggest that only small amounts of poor PLA and/or PBAT crystals are present in their corresponding melt crystallized specimens as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study on the Crystallization, Miscibility, Morphology, Properties of Poly(lactic acid)/Poly(ε-caprolactone) Blends
Jen-Taut Yeh,Ching-Ju Wu,Chi-Hui Tsou,Wan-Lan Chai,Jing-Dong Chow,Chi-Yuan Huang,Kan-Nan Chen,Chin-San Wu +7 more
TL;DR: A series of blends of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) and poly(e-caprolactone) (PCL) with different mass ratio were prepared by means of the melt blending method to study their crystallization, miscibility, morphology, and thermal and mechanical properties as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation and Characterization of Bioplastic-Based Green Renewable Composites from Tapioca with Acetyl Tributyl Citrate as a Plasticizer.
Chi-Hui Tsou,Chi-Hui Tsou,Maw-Cherng Suen,Wei-Hua Yao,Jen-taut Yeh,Chin-San Wu,Chih-Yuan Tsou,Shih-Hsuan Chiu,Jui-Chin Chen,Ruo Yao Wang,Shang-Ming Lin,Wei-Song Hung,Manuel Reyes De Guzman,Chien-Chieh Hu,Kueir-Rarn Lee +14 more
TL;DR: The results revealed that excessive plasticizer would cause the migration of ATBC and decrease the tensile properties, and mixing ATBC with PLA/tapioca/MDI blends did exhibit the effect of plasticization and biodegradation.
