Metal-Organic-Framework-Derived Hollow N-Doped Porous Carbon with Ultrahigh Concentrations of Single Zn Atoms for Efficient Carbon Dioxide Conversion.

TL;DR: A class of novel hollow porous carbons, featuring well dispersed dopants of nitrogen and single Zn atoms, have been fabricated, based on the templated growth of a hollow metal-organic framework precursor, followed by pyrolysis, which achieves efficient catalytic CO2 cycloaddition with epoxides.
Journal ArticleDOI

Direct white light phosphor: a porous zinc gallophosphate with tunable yellow-to-white luminescence.

TL;DR: A nanoporous zinc gallophosphate framework, NTHU-4, possessing 14-ring channels, disordered rims, and two luminant analogues, has been synthesized and characterized, and can be excited by wavelengths longer than 254 nm to give intense yellow-to-white luminescence.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel trypsin–FITC@MOF bioreactor efficiently catalyzes protein digestion

TL;DR: A simple nanoporous metal organic framework (MOF) bioreactor preparation via a low energy 30 minute vortex as driving force to immobilize trypsin enzyme is presented and it is shown that this "green" synthesis procedure produced a " green"Bioreactor.
