Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, structural characterization and antimicrobial activities of 12 zinc(II) complexes with four thiosemicarbazone and two semicarbazone ligands.
Noriko Chikaraishi Kasuga,Kiyoshi Sekino,Motoki Ishikawa,Ayano Honda,Masaki Yokoyama,Saori Nakano,Nobuhiro Shimada,Chisa Koumo,Kenji Nomiya +8 more
TL;DR: Twelve zinc(II) complexes with thiosemicarbazone and semicarbazones ligands were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis (TG/DTA), FT-IR and 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, and showed antimicrobial activities against bacteria, yeasts and molds.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, structural characterization and antimicrobial activities of 4- and 6-coordinate nickel(II) complexes with three thiosemicarbazones and semicarbazone ligands.
Noriko Chikaraishi Kasuga,Kiyoshi Sekino,Chisa Koumo,Nobuhiro Shimada,Motoki Ishikawa,Kenji Nomiya +5 more
TL;DR: To investigate the relationship between antimicrobial activities and the molecular structures of nickel(II) complexes with thiosemicarbazone and semicarbazones ligands, nickel( II) complexesWith ligands Hmtsc, Hatsc, Hasc and H2dmtsc were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopies, magnetic susceptibility measurements, UV-Vis absorption spectra, TG/DTA and single
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, Structural Characterization, and Biological Activity of Two Different Nickel(II)Complexes Derived from N'-[1-(2-pyridyl)ethylidene]morpholine-4-carbothiohydrazide
TL;DR: The reaction of Ni(OAc)2 with N′-[1-(2-pyridyl)ethylidene]morpholine-4-carbothiohydrazide (HL) afforded two nickel(II) complexes, depending on reaction temperature and starting molar ratio as mentioned in this paper.
