QCD phase transition with chiral quarks and physical quark masses.

TL;DR: The first lattice calculation of the QCD phase transition using chiral fermions with physical quark masses using 2+1 quark flavors, spatial volumes between (4 fm) and (11 fm)(3) and temperatures between 139 and 196 MeV finds no metastability near the peak and a peak height which does not change when a 5 fm spatial extent is increased to 10 fm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Can the nearly conformal sextet gauge model hide the Higgs impostor

TL;DR: In this article, large scale lattice simulations of a strongly interacting gauge theory with a fermion flavor doublet in the two-index symmetric (sextet) representation of the SU(3) color gauge group are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Twelve massless flavors and three colors below the conformal window

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors report new results for a frequently discussed gauge theory with twelve fermion flavors in the fundamental representation of the SU(3) color gauge group, subject the model to opposite hypotheses inside and outside of the conformal window.
