Real Killing spinors and holonomy

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors give a description of all complete simply connected Riemannian manifolds carrying real Killing spinors and present a construction method for manifolds with the exceptional holonomy groups G2 and Spin(7).

On harmonic spinors

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the question to what extend classical Hodge-deRham theory for harmonic differential forms carries over to harmonic spinors and showed that despite the Atiyah-Singer index theorem which provides a link between harmonic spinor and the topology of the underlying manifold, it turns out that in many dimen-sions harmonic spiders are not topologically obstructed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Generalized cylinders in semi-Riemannian and spin geometry

TL;DR: In this paper, generalized cylinders have been used to give a new proof of the fundamental theorem of hypersurface theory, which extends to semi-Riemannian manifolds and embeddings into spaces of constant curvature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lower eigenvalue estimates for Dirac operators

TL;DR: In this paper, upper eigenvalue estimates for generalized Dirac operators on closed Riemannian manifolds were derived for spheres of constant curvature, and the first eigenvalues were sharp for spheres with constant curvatures.
