C60 in reflection nebulae
Kris Sellgren,Michael W. Werner,James G. Ingalls,J. D. T. Smith,T. M. Carleton,Christine Joblin,Christine Joblin +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the spectral properties of the fullerene C_(60) in the reflection nebula NGC 7023 were confirmed by detecting a third emission feature at 7.04 ± 0.05 μm.
Journal ArticleDOI
C$_{60}$ in Reflection Nebulae
Kris Sellgren,Michael W. Werner,James G. Ingalls,J. D. T. Smith,T. M. Carleton,Christine Joblin +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the spectral properties of neutral C$60$ in the interstellar medium were confirmed by detecting a third emission feature at 7.04 $pm$ 0.05 $m in the reflection nebula NGC 7023.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the Herschel HIFI instrument in dual beam switch mode to observe the ground state rotational transitions of reactive ions OH+, H2O+ and H3O+ along the line of sight to the submillimeter continuum source G10.4 (W31C).
Journal ArticleDOI
Stacked clusters of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon molecules
TL;DR: Evidence that stacking the PAH molecules generally yields the most stable motif and a structural transition between one-dimensional stacks and three-dimensional shapes built from multiple stacks is observed at larger sizes, and the threshold for this transition increases with the size of the monomer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Stacked clusters of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon molecules.
TL;DR: In this paper, all-atom potentials of polycyclic aromatic hydrocar (PAH) molecules are modelled using explicit all atom potentials using a rigid body approximation.
