Diet and Foraging Mode of Bufo marinus and Leptodactylus ocellatus

TL;DR: The relationships between foraging mode and diet were investigated for two large nocturnal anurans, Bufo marinus and Leptodactylus ocellatus, with results that agree with generalizations derived from studies of diurnal leaf-litter frogs but morphologies of the species and sizes of prey eaten did not fit the generalizations.
