Polymer solar cell by blade coating
Yu Han Chang,Shin Rong Tseng,Chun Yu Chen,Hsin-Fei Meng,En-Chen Chen,Sheng-fu Horng,Chain-Shu Hsu +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) donor and (6,6)-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) acceptor are fabricated by blade coating in toluene solution.
Journal ArticleDOI
Continuous blade coating for multi-layer large-area organic light-emitting diode and solar cell
Chun Yu Chen,Hao-Wen Chang,Yu-Fan Chang,B.C. Chang,Yuan-Sheng Lin,Pei-Siou Jian,Han-Cheng Yeh,Hung-Ta Chien,En-Chen Chen,Yu Chiang Chao,Hsin-Fei Meng,Hsiao-Wen Zan,Hao-Wu Lin,Sheng-fu Horng,Yen-Ju Cheng,Feng-Wen Yen,I-Feng Lin,Hsiu-Yuan Yang,Huang Kuo-Jui,Mei-Rurng Tseng +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a continuous roll-to-roll compatible blade-coating method for multi-layer of general organic semiconductors is developed, where dissolution of the underlying film during coating is prevented by simultaneously applying heating from the bottom and gentle hot wind from the top.
Journal ArticleDOI
High performance organic photovoltaic cells with blade-coated active layers
TL;DR: In this paper, high performance bulk heterojunction organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells with blade-coated active layers of POD2T-DTBT blended with [6,6]-phenyl-C71-butyric acid methyl ester (PC71BM) are demonstrated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Concomitant tuning of metal work function and wetting property with mixed self-assembled monolayers
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of surface composition of a mixed self-assembled monolayer on the work function and wetting property of a silver substrate was investigated with the mixtures of a fluorinated alkanethiol and a carboxyl-terminated alkanetiol of various chain lengths.
Journal ArticleDOI
Solution-processed small molecular electron transport layer for multilayer polymer light-emitting diodes
Zong You Liu,Shin Rong Tseng,Yu Chiang Chao,Chun Yu Chen,Hsin-Fei Meng,Sheng-fu Horng,Yu Hsun Wu,Su Hua Chen +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a solution-processed electron transport layer (ETL) was fabricated by solution process and applied in multilayer polymer light-emitting diodes with tris(2-(p-tolyl)pyridine)iridium(III) blended in poly(vinylcarbazole) as the emissive layer.
