Facile synthesis of NiCo2O4 nanorod arrays on Cu conductive substrates as superior anode materials for high-rate Li-ion batteries

TL;DR: In this article, a mild and cost-effective solution to directly grow Ni-substituted Co3O4 (ternary NiCo2O4) nanorod arrays on Cu substrates was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

One-pot synthesis of mesoporous interconnected carbon-encapsulated Fe3O4 nanospheres as superior anodes for Li-ion batteries

TL;DR: In this paper, mesoporous interconnected carbon-encapsulated Fe3O4 (Fe3O 4@C) nanospheres assembled from tiny nanoparticle subunits were synthesized by a one-pot solvothermal decomposition route followed by thermal annealing.
Journal ArticleDOI

Self-assembled porous hierarchical-like CoO@C microsheets transformed from inorganic-organic precursors and their lithium-ion battery application

TL;DR: In this paper, a hierarchical microsheet made of interconnected CoO tiny nanoparticles are uniformly encapsulated within two-dimensional thin carbon layers, and the synergistic effect of both the hierarchical nanoarchitecture and conducting carbon layer support contributes to the enhanced electrochemical performances of the hybrid CoO@C electrode.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solvothermal Synthesis of Uniform Co3O4/C Hollow Quasi‐Nanospheres for Enhanced Lithium Ion Intercalation Applications

TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of carbon-coated single-crystalline Co3O4 porous and hollow quasi-nanospheres by an in situ carboncoating and Ostwald ripening solvothermal process was reported.

Co3O4/C lithium ion battery cathode material and preparation method thereof

TL;DR: In this article, a Co3O4/C lithium ion battery cathode material and a preparation method of the cathode is described, which consists of dissolving cobalt nitrate and glucose in a mixture of ethanol and distilled water, uniformly stirring, adding a dispersing agent, and transferring the mixture into a sealed reaction kettle for reacting; cooling after the reaction is finished, performing centrifugal treatment on the reaction solution, washing the obtained precipitate, drying drying, annealing the precipitate under protection of inert atmosphere, and cooling the precipitates to obtain the cath
