Improvement of the performance of simultaneous nitrification denitrification and phosphorus removal (SNDPR) system by nitrite stress.
Shuting Xie,Jianqiang Zhao,Jianqiang Zhao,Qianqian Zhang,Qianqian Zhang,Junkai Zhao,Shuhan Lei,Xiaoqing Ma,Chunxiao Yan +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated a new way to improve the performance of simultaneous nitrification denitrification and phosphorus removal (SNDPR) system by regularly changing the anaerobic/micro-aerobic and anoxic mode to the anoxic/anoxic mode with 30 mg/L of nitrite dosing, and the results indicated that the removal efficiency of total inorganic nitrogen and PO43--P was improved from 75.44% and 85.14% to 98.89% and 98.17%, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparisons of nitrogen and phosphorus removal efficiency in A2/O process, UCT process, MUCT process, enhanced phosphorus removal process and inverted A2/ O process based on GPS-X simulation
TL;DR: In this paper , the results showed that the simply reversed A2/O process exhibited poor total phosphorus (TP) removal efficiency under low carbon level, while the other three processes under low, medium and high levels of carbon source met the first B level criteria in Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Plan (GB18918-2002) for China.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study on Dyeing Properties and Color Characteristics of Wool Fabrics Dyed with Geranium caespitosum L. Extract—A New Natural Yellow Dye
Zhi-Lin Zhao,Chunxiao Yan,Fei Xu +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a new natural yellow dye was extracted from a low-cost herb Geranium caespitosum L. (G. caespitsum), and the dye composition was analyzed using UV-visible spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI
The accumulation characteristics of NO and N2O in A/O-SBR for treating ammonium-rich organic wastewater
TL;DR: In this article , a sequencing batch reactor (SBR) was used to treat ammonium-rich organic wastewater, and the nitrogen transformation and characteristics of NO and N2O accumulation in typical cycles under different nitrification conditions were monitored.
Journal ArticleDOI
The effect of S/N ratio on NO and N2O accumulation during sulfide autotrophic denitrification
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the produce mechanism and accumulation characteristic of NO and N2O in SAD process under different S/N ratios, and found that the lower S /N ratio, the higher NO accumulation, which was due to strong reducing effect of S2- and the electronic competition between nitrogen reductase.
