O abuso sexual infantil e um problema de saude publica, devido a elevada incidencia epidemiologica e aos serios prejuizos para o desenvolvimento das vitimas A dinâmica desta forma de violencia e complexa, envolvendo aspectos psicologicos, sociais e legais Este estudo apresenta o mapeamento de fatores de risco para abuso sexual intrafamiliar identificados nos processos juridicos do Ministerio Publico do Rio Grande do Sul - Brasil por violencia sexual, no periodo entre 1992 e 1998 A analise de 71 expedientes apresenta o perfil das vitimas e a caracterizacao da violencia sexual, dos agressores e das familias Os resultados apontaram que o desemprego, familias reconstituidas, abuso de alcool e drogas, dificuldades economicas e presenca de outras formas de violencia constituiram os principais fatores de risco associados ao abuso sexual Tais resultados podem subsidiar acoes preventivas e terapeuticas para situacoes de violencia sexual contra criancas e adolescentes

Abuso sexual infantil e dinâmica familiar: aspectos observados em processos jurídicos

The article analyzes the relationship of the resilience with unfavorable life events and protection factors The sample of that study belonged to 997 school adolescents of the public schools of Sao Goncalo/RJ As measure of resilience was used the Resilience Scale developed by Wagnild & Young (1993) To measure Life Events were used scale of physical violence (Straus, 1979) and psychological violence (Pitzer & Drummond, 1997), violence items in the school and in the place, violence among siblings and among parents, sexual violence and others As protection factors were used the Scale of Social Support of Shebourne e Stewart (Chor, Grip, Lopes & Farstein, 2001), the Scale of Self-Esteem of Rosemberg (1989), family supervision, relationship with friends and teachers It was observed that the negative life events didn't present relationship with the resilience On the other hand, the appraised protection factors were shown all correlated with the resilience

Risco e proteção: em busca de um equilíbrio promotor de resiliência

Este artigo visa a descrever uma metodologia para pesquisas com familias em ambiente natural: a Insercao Ecologica. Esta metodologia esta fundamentada na Teoria dos Sistemas Ecologicos, que propoe o estudo do desenvolvimento humano atraves de um modelo cientifico envolvendo a interacao de quatro nucleos: o processo, a pessoa, o contexto e o tempo, denominado modelo bioecologico. De acordo com esta teoria, o modelo bioecologico se constitui em um referencial teorico-metodologico apropriado para a realizacao de pesquisas sobre o desenvolvimento-no-contexto. Este artigo descreve a operacionalizacao deste modelo em uma pesquisa qualitativa sobre resiliencia e vulnerabilidade em familias em situacao de risco. A insercao ecologica envolveu o acompanhamento longitudinal de tres familias pobres, que vivem em uma comunidade violenta, e incluiu observacoes, conversas informais e entrevistas. A operacionalizacao do modelo bioecologico nesta pesquisa proporcionou a realizacao de um estudo com validade ecologica, pois permitiu incluir varios niveis de analise.

This study presents a consolidation of aspects of protection and risk in human development, in several ecological contexts, such as the family, the institution and the school, taken from literature, and relates them to the furtherance of resilience It also defines the concepts of the resilience process, protective and risk factors and offers considerations about children in risk situations Urie Bronfenbrenner's bioecological human development theory was used as a theoretical-methodological basis to analyze these contexts and factors of risk and/or protection This theory addresses the study of development by integrating the understanding of the aspects of people's lives, whether it be the period in which they live, the environments in which they participate or the relationships that are established Irrespective of the context (family, institution or school), a variety of influences and life events may be classified as risk or as protection However, this will depend on the quality and existence of emotional and social relationships, of the presence of affection and reciprocity that such environments provide

This paper presents a literature review about socialization practices and parental styles in familiar context, aiming to analyze them as risk and protective potential factors for physical abuse, based on ecological perspective of human development Several factors are analyzed at familiar, personal and social perspectives, such as individual characteristics, parents experience in their families of origin, social support network, and stressful life events The comprehension of these factors may subsidize both intervention programs and prevention of cases of physical abuse in families, and also to encourage new research

Práticas educativas, estilos parentais e abuso físico no contexto familiar

This study presents adolescents' point of view about family. Twelve female adolescents, 12 to 17 year old, institutionalized after being abused by their families, showed their family concepts, and their expectations about having a family in the future, in two focus groups. The focus groups "A" and "B" were analyzed, separately, as unique contexts. Focus group "A" revealed their point of view about family, based on emotional ties, where the parents' responsibilities and roles were overlapped, and the relationships were marked by violence. Focus group "B" revealed their point of view about family, based on a traditional related family, with pre determined parents' roles, and the relationships were marked by reciprocity. Both groups were marked by idealization of family. The expectations about having their own family in the future were presented in each group, but with different configuration and roles from the one they have now This attitude can be seem as a protective way against the risk situations they are living, and as a hope for change in their future.

A visão de família entre as adolescentes que sofreram violência intrafamiliar

The present study describes the work of an ecological psychologist in an institution for girls who were victims of violence, based on the Ecological Model of Human development. The integration of theory and practice is discussed, involving issues related to the daily life of the institution, the life history of the girls, and the cultural and social influence of the ecological systems. The results showed that the procedures adopted led to an improvement of the quality of professional services and a betterment of the life quality of the girls in the institution.

Vulnerabilidade e resiliencia familiar: um estudo com adolescentes que sofreram maus tratos intrafamiliares

This article analyses risk and protection factors identified in families with a history of parental physical abuse. Twenty families of low socioeconomic level participated in this study. The data were obtained through a semi-structured inter- view and ecological insertion. The risk indicators found were related to: 1) the different roles in the family; 2) pathologies; 3) educative practices; and, 4) aggressive behaviors. The protection indicators are related to: 1) the network of social and affective support; 2) achievements valorization; and, 3) the wish of future improvement. The conclusion is that the risk indicators are severe and diversified, acting many times on a intense way in the familiar context. Thereby, they can allow the use of physical strength in parents-children relations, at the same time that protection indicators are not totally to inhibit such action. These risk and protection indicators can be comprehended as important instruments for the analysis and implementation of educational and health actions that seek the prevention and inhibition of intrafamily violence.
