TL;DR: The 6- and 12-month follow-up data suggest that transendocardial injection of ABMMNCs in patients with end-stage ischemic heart disease may produce a durable therapeutic effect and improve myocardial perfusion and exercise capacity.

TL;DR: Eleven months after treatment, morphological and immunocytochemical analysis of the sites of ABMM cell injection showed no abnormal cell growth or tissue lesions and suggested that an active process of angiogenesis was present in both the fibrotic cicatricial tissue and the adjacent cardiac muscle.

TL;DR: Injection procedures through anterograde and retrograde approaches seem to be feasible and safe in autologous bone marrow mononuclear cells transplantation in ST elevation myocardial infarction, and retention by damaged heart tissue was apparently higher when the anterogsrade approach was used.

TL;DR: The results showed that Tc-99m HMPAO can be used to label ABMMN cells for in vivo cell visualization, and that brain SPECT imaging with labeled ABMMn cells is a feasible noninvasive method for studying the fate of transplanted cells in vivo.
