Antiinflammatory effect of BPC 157 on experimental periodontitis in rats.

TL;DR: Systemic application of BPC 157 does not alter blood circulation in healthy gingiva, and chronic application of the peptide has potent antiinflammatory effects on periodontal tissues in ligature induced periodontitis in rats, suggesting that BPC157 may represent a new peptide candidate in the treatment of periodontic disease.

Serum albumin coating of demineralized bone matrix results in stronger new bone formation.

TL;DR: It is shown that implanting serum albumin coated DBM significantly reduces healing period in nonhealing defects and results in mechanically stronger bone, and a much improved bone grafting success can be achieved without the use of exogenous stem cells.
